when I close my eyes I see
the way this world shall be when…

• the last child cries for a crust of bread
• the last man dies for just words that he said
• there is shelter over the poorest head
• the last thing we notice is the color of skin
• the first thing we look for is the beauty within
• the skies and the oceans are clean again
• we are free to love anyone we choose
• this world is big enough for all different views
• we all can worship from our own kind of pew
• when money talks for the very last time
• nobody walks a step behind
• there is only one race and that is mankind
• we all walk hand in hand

we shall be free.
